With the CutCut® you can unroll and cut the wrap foil 1) if you tilt the dispenser 2) if you move the cutter (2) with your hand. After each cut you find a piece of foil free to pick and unroll the foil again and again.
The defining feature of the invention is a blade that cuts the film along a channel, in both directions. This means that the blade cuts the film and does not wear out easily. With CUTCUT you can cut the foil easily, either by moving the cutter with your hand, or by tilting the device. CUTCUT is the only device witch can be operated by one hand. An other advantage is that after the cut, CUTCUT leaves a piece of the transparent foil free to catch it, then to unroll and cut the foil again and again.
The device has a rotating support (7) on which you can mount transparent film. The film sits smoothly over the plate (1) and the cutter (2) is moved along the metal guiding rod with your hand. The blade penetrates and cuts the film. Since the foil is cut over a channel (6) the blade wears very little.
Another unique feature is that the blade can cut film laid out on the plate using its own weight. By angling the device, the blade slides along the guiding tube and cuts the film without the need for using your hands.
Transparent film is made of very thin plastic (10-20 microns) which can stretch and cling easily to the roll. Therefore, unfolding and cutting it without the CutCut® wrap foil dispenser is difficult. CutCut® can unfold and then cut plastic food wrap easily.
